Compact Carbon Fiber Tripod for Travel and Telephoto Photography
CARBON TC is the compact version of the Zenelli carbon fiber tripod system, designed for photographers who require an optimal balance between portability and performance.
While maintaining the structural strength required for telephoto photography, CARBON TC focuses on reduced size and transport efficiency, making it ideal for travel, outdoor photography, and situations where minimizing weight and bulk is essential.
The structure combines high modulus carbon fiber tubes with CNC-machined components made from extruded magnesium alloys, ensuring exceptional rigidity, low weight, and long-term durability.
The compact cross design allows the tripod to fold into a smaller footprint while maintaining compatibility with the various tube diameters available throughout the range.
A key feature of the system is the protected telescopic section design. Each section incorporates dedicated sealing elements designed to help reduce the ingress of dust, moisture, and contaminants during normal field use, helping preserve internal components and maintain smooth operation over time. Recommendations regarding use in particularly demanding environments can be found in the Technical Specifications section.
Dedicated pressure relief valves allow smooth extension and retraction of the telescopic sections while equalizing internal pressure, improving operational fluidity during repeated use in the field.
The telescopic movement is smooth and controlled, allowing rapid height adjustments in dynamic shooting situations. The locking system is engineered for speed and simplicity: by rotating the lowest section, all sections are simultaneously locked with a single movement, enabling fast deployment and immediate stability. When additional locking force is required, each section can also be individually tightened through the high-grip ergonomic interfaces.
The removable feet are connected through a standard 3/8”-16 UNC thread, ensuring compatibility with spikes and other accessories for different terrain conditions.
The 180-degree folding leg design allows the tripod to close compactly around the mounted head, reducing transport volume and improving carrying convenience.
The leg angle adjustment system is designed for fast and intuitive operation. A dedicated lever allows photographers to quickly change the leg angle and securely lock the tripod in the desired position.
Additional features include a built-in leveling bubble for rapid alignment and a side 3/8”-16 UNC accessory port for mounting additional equipment.
The removable center disk is designed to accept dedicated accessories, increasing the versatility and modularity of the system. The head is secured through an axial locking system that ensures a stable and reliable connection.
All hardware components are manufactured from stainless steel to ensure excellent corrosion resistance and long-term reliability.
Designed and manufactured for photographers who prioritize portability without compromising stability, CARBON TC delivers precision, reliability, and transport efficiency in a compact professional platform suitable for telephoto, wildlife, travel, and outdoor photography.

Care & Maintenance
The sealing system integrated into the telescopic sections is designed to help reduce the ingress of dust, moisture, and contaminants during normal outdoor use. While this architecture provides a high level of protection in the field, periodic inspection and maintenance are recommended to ensure optimal long-term performance.
After use in environments containing sand, mud, river sediment, dust, or other abrasive contaminants, any visible residue should be removed from the leg sections before retracting them. This simple procedure helps limit the introduction of contaminants into the sliding and locking mechanisms.
For photographers who regularly operate in particularly demanding environments, periodic cleaning of the tripod is recommended as part of normal equipment maintenance.
Particular attention should be paid when operating in environments where water, sand, and sediment are present. Prolonged immersion of the leg sections is not recommended, as contaminants may accumulate over time and affect the smooth operation of the sliding and locking mechanisms.
Following exposure to water, the tripod should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water, allowed to dry completely, and inspected to ensure proper operation of all moving components before storage.
Proper maintenance helps preserve operational reliability and maximize the service life of the tripod.
Compatible gears
A. Standard Use (without 180° leg folding)
Compatible with any tripod head featuring a standard 3/8"-16 mounting thread.
B. 180° Leg Folding Compatibility*
The 180° reverse-folding design has been engineered and verified for compatibility with:
- Zenelli BC Ball Head
* Due to the wide variety of tripod head designs available on the market, compatibility with the 180° folding system cannot be guaranteed for third-party heads, even when equipped with a standard 3/8"-16 mounting thread. All third-party heads can still be mounted and used normally on the tripod, provided they feature a standard 3/8"-16 mounting thread, but the ability to fully fold the legs back by 180° may be limited by the dimensions or shape of the head itself.
