Magnesium Alloy

Zenelli® uses an advanced magnesium alloy that combines lightness, strength and excellent mechanical performance, making it ideal for applications requiring maximum weight reduction without compromising strength.
Extraordinary lightness: With a density of only 1.8 g/cm³, magnesium alloy is approximately 30% lighter than aluminum and over 75% lighter than steel, offering significant advantages for mobile, aerospace or sports applications.

High strength-to-weight ratio: Despite its lightness, this alloy offers excellent mechanical strength, ensuring structural reliability under medium-high load conditions. Heat treatment further optimizes the mechanical properties through an artificial aging process.
Excellent machinability: It lends itself easily to machining, casting and welding, allowing for efficient production.
Improved corrosion resistance: Thanks to the presence of aluminum and zinc, the alloy offers good corrosion resistance compared to other magnesium alloys, especially if a protective surface finish is applied.
